Crop Tops: you either love 'em or hate 'em. I am with the former. This particular crop top I picked up at the AA outlet and I love it so much I want it in a few other colors. Luckily, AA has no shortage of tube, tees and crop tops

Happy Monday loves! Sorry, I should have warned you this post was pic heavy. My weekend was very eventful complete with amazing weather. It started with some heavy interaction with my MacBook and quickly turned into a laundry day complete with a mani and pedi. Sunday we headed into Queens for brunch at a beer garden to help celebrate my friend's birthday. The day started out with sunshine that I swore was only for me but it quickly burst my bubble and reminded me that it's still not summer. Boooo! But the balmy weather sure was nice while it lasted. Despite us having to rush indoors because of the unforgiving wind, a great time was had by all. My favorite moments are surrounded by good friends and family, laughter, lots of food and liquid refreshments in the form of alcohol. ;)

Have a great 'only four more days 'til Friday' Monday.

P.S. J. Crew is having 25% off your entire purchase with the code SPRINGBEST

We've had a stroke of good luck the last week around these parts. The temperature dial has not hit below 40. Sounds funny for those of you who live in warmer climates, I'm sure. When you are used to below freezing temperatures in the winter months, 40 and 50 degree weather is heavenly. This weather invites us to wear lighter jackets, shoes without tights or socks; no scarves, gloves or hats and in the process it feels amazing. Today, we are experiencing a wintery mix {rain, sleet, and snow} and the rest of the week the temps are expected to drop. To say I am looking forward to the Spring is an understatement. Not because we've had a bad winter thus far; in fact, it's been a fairly "mild" one but because I am anxious for what Spring brings. Hope and joy, slightly warmer days, blossoming flowers, and the birds + plants come alive. There is a scent in the air of the approaching warm summer days and nights filled with sunshine and glorious sunsets, bike riding, outdoor fun, travels, bbq's, baseball, iced coffees, open toe sandals and sand. Lots and lots of sand.
Oh, I think I'm in love.

leopard chic

Michael Kors Vest {last worn here}. Zara blazer. 7FAM Jeans {similar}. H&M tee.
Banana Republic boots {old}. Alexander McQueen scarf. J.Crew leopard beanie + bubble necklace
ASOS clutch. Vintage, Etsy and J.Crew bracelets.
Michael Kors gloves. MAC Lady Danger + MAC Amorous lips. Essie Licorice nails.

As far back as I can remember, leopard has been on the top of my favorites list. It's been in the recent years, that the print has become my go-to "black." There's a certain classic, timeless element to it that never goes out of style. I love that leopard is being extended beyond just clothing, though; you can find it in rugs, wallpaper, even on food!? It became really popular among the ladies back in the '60's but lately it seems it's becoming more of a fashion trend. What do you guys think of it? Like or Pass?

Top: Forever 21 | Shorts: J Brand | Shoes: Tracy Reese {on sale now!} | Clutch: vintage Louis Vuitton
Jewelry: Lydell NYC chain {similar}; ASOS, Etsy and Forever 21 bracelets; Alexander McQueen ring

I love this time of year. The mornings are cooler, during the day the sun is hot and steaming, and as the sun drops behind the horizon to signal sunset, a nice cool breeze wafts in through the window. I nod my head because this feeling is very familiar: Fall is most assuredly almost here. This was exactly my thought a few days ago when I wore this outfit. During the day, it was pretty humid and the sun was scorching but as soon as 5pm hit, we noticed the slight temperature drop - enough to bring chills to my legs in shorts. Will that make me pack away the shorts anytime soon? Negative. My compromise is to dust off the tights from last winter and pop them on underneath. Perfect example here

peach sorbet

Blazer: Forever 21 {recent} | Jeans: Forever 21 | Tank: Target {old}
Booties: Via Spiga | Scarf: street vendor | Bag: Cole Haan
Jewelry: Forever 21 necklace {old}, vintage elephant bracelet and ASOS bracelets
Nails: Essie Coral Reef

The weather has been quite dreary around these parts the past week; weather that only calls for something bright and cheery to lift the mood. Enter this peach blazer, that reminds me of sorbet. It's the perfect cut for my pregnant belly (I can even button it! Score!) and the perfect length to cover my booty. Needless to say, this one will be making quite the rotation in my wardrobe this spring and summer. Speaking of, who is looking forward to all the summer fashion?! I, for one, am excited to get back into my regular clothes.
