gift guide : the hostess
Since the Holidays are all about going to party after endless party, I've rounded up some little luxuries to help you show your appreciation for the hostess. Putting on a holiday soiree is alot of work and you want to make sure you get a repeat invitation, right? <wink>

love everyday, not just today
Hope you all have a sweet, loving Valentine's Day filled with genuine love, cupcakes, kisses, joy, goodness, and more cupcakes (!!!) whether it's spent with your significant other, friends, or family members. Hubby and I are especially excited today because we get to hear the baby's heartbeat again. There's nothing else we'd rather do on Love Day.

good-bye 2011, hello 2012...
I've escaped on a weekend getaway to South Jersey with the hubby and am thoroughly enjoying the relaxation. We're presently resting up for tonight's festivities. Hope your New Year's Eve is full of love, blessings, and good cheer.
Wishing you all the best in 2012!

merry + bright
Coat: Leifsdottir | Scarf: H&M | Dress: Zara
Jewelry: Anthropologie necklace; Vintage snake bracelet, nOir Panther ring
Purse: H&M | Nails: OPI Malaga Wine | Lips: MAC Rebel
Spent a Merry Christmas Eve with those dearest and closest to me, my family. My jaw hurt from laughing so much and watching my 17-month old niece focus on tearing up the wrapping paper instead of focusing on opening her gifts. I'm sure next Christmas it will be a totally different story. As always, the day went by in a blur of activity and it was all over much too soon. As is the routine year after year, now begins the countdown to 2012. Hope you all enjoyed your Holidays with loved ones!
By the way, this lucky girl received a very special gift for Christmas. :) I'll be sharing that with you later this week.

thankful
{via}
On our way to my mom's house for Thanksgiving Dinner. So looking forward to the turkey, the delicious sides, and seeing my family but mostly can't want to see my niece and nephew.
Thanksgiving is a beautiful holiday; a time to sit, break bread, and reflect on everything the year has given. For those that are in other countries and do not celebrate today, take the time to reflect on what you are thankful for. This year has been more than good to me; I hope it has been good to you, too.
Today, I am thankful for each and every one of YOU who take the time out of their busy schedules to read my schpeel. Thank you for reading, commenting, and getting to know me. I am forever grateful.
Enjoy your Holiday!
