Happy Tuesday! I just want to say that I love these pants. I first saw these on targetdoesitagain's instagram accountwhich, by the way, if you are not following you should be. My justification for making them mine: the low price tag and they are so comfy! I got to my nearest Target and as soon as I tried them on, I snatched these babies up! I wore them in a simple way for Easter Sunday with my basic nude pump, but I really envision them with a neon or metallic heel. Are you a fan of print pants? Hope you are all having an easy Tuesday!

leopard chic

Michael Kors Vest {last worn here}. Zara blazer. 7FAM Jeans {similar}. H&M tee.
Banana Republic boots {old}. Alexander McQueen scarf. J.Crew leopard beanie + bubble necklace
ASOS clutch. Vintage, Etsy and J.Crew bracelets.
Michael Kors gloves. MAC Lady Danger + MAC Amorous lips. Essie Licorice nails.

As far back as I can remember, leopard has been on the top of my favorites list. It's been in the recent years, that the print has become my go-to "black." There's a certain classic, timeless element to it that never goes out of style. I love that leopard is being extended beyond just clothing, though; you can find it in rugs, wallpaper, even on food!? It became really popular among the ladies back in the '60's but lately it seems it's becoming more of a fashion trend. What do you guys think of it? Like or Pass?

outfit crush : temptress unleashed

I find that when I am looking for an outfit for a special date night with the hubby or an evening of drinks with my girlfriends, a look like this is one I would usually go for. Edgy meets chic. I love leather skinnies paired with a structured blazer, a pair of gorgeous high heels that sculpt my calves just right, and a big bag to throw all my necessities in. Since there is a lot going on with this outfit, I like to keep jewelry to a minimum. A pair of stud earrings, a few bracelets, and a quick swipe of rouge are all I would need to feel fabulously put together.

So, would you wear this outfit?

Jewelry: Lydell NYC chain {similar}; ASOS, Etsy and Forever 21 bracelets; Alexander McQueen ring

I love this time of year. The mornings are cooler, during the day the sun is hot and steaming, and as the sun drops behind the horizon to signal sunset, a nice cool breeze wafts in through the window. I nod my head because this feeling is very familiar: Fall is most assuredly almost here. This was exactly my thought a few days ago when I wore this outfit. During the day, it was pretty humid and the sun was scorching but as soon as 5pm hit, we noticed the slight temperature drop - enough to bring chills to my legs in shorts. Will that make me pack away the shorts anytime soon? Negative. My compromise is to dust off the tights from last winter and pop them on underneath. Perfect example here

I finally got a chance to upload some photos I had stored on my camera. A little late, but better late than never. For Valentine's Day, we decided to go to one of our favorite local spots and grab a tasty dinner. Every time we go there, I have their sangria because it is so delicious so it was a bit weird not to order a glass this time around. Hubby and I had a lovely time talking & laughing and later during the meal we realized that this will be our last Valentine's Day spent as 'non-parents.' With baby boy on the way, only the good Lord knows how our Valentine's will be spent next year. But, the only thing that matters is that we'll spend it together. After all, it's Love Day and what better love is there than family.

tis the season...

This weekend we put up our Christmas tree and it took all the energy I had not to quit in the middle of it. Don't get me wrong, readers, I luurrve Christmas decorating {after all, it's my favorite holiday} but I kind of lost my motivation mid-way because I tend to get bored of looking at the same ornaments year after year. We kind of wanted to get new ones this year, but couldn't stomach paying the insane amount some of these stores are asking {of course, the beautiful ones are the most expensive} so I chalked it up and just decided to use the same ones and to change it up slightly we did a monochromatic color this year instead of using combo colors. The new ornaments will have to wait until next year when we move into our new place. I'll try and take photos of the tree later on this week to show you. On a more successful note, it's always good when you are pulling out the Christmas storage and find brand new Christmas cards you totally forgot you bought last year. Score! For those of you who decorated a tree this year, what color scheme did you go with?

HAPPY MONDAY

And just like that, Thanksgiving is over. Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday. I'm presently taking advantage of 'Cyber Monday' deals and starting my Christmas shopping early. Every year I say the same thing; this year I'll start early so I'm not running around like a chicken without a head two days before Christmas trying to get last minute gifts {coming from someone who detests crowds}. And every year, there is always something or someone I forgot to buy for. This year, I'm sure there'll be no exception. Deep down, I think I like it.
