Happy Day before Friday friends! I wore this outfit for Cinco De Mayo. I found this skull tee when spring cleaning a few weeks ago and you know that feeling you get when you haven't seen something treasured in a long while; elation. True to my nature when I find something I love and that is comfy, I wear it on repeat. Which is exactly what I've been doing since Sunday. Speaking of Sunday, this particular one coming is Mother's Day. My very first as a mommy. We'll be celebrating with my family and I can't wait to celebrate all the mommies in my life but truth be told I am mostly looking forward to the food and stuffing my piehole. :)

Have a great one dolls!

leopard chic

Michael Kors Vest {last worn here}. Zara blazer. 7FAM Jeans {similar}. H&M tee.
Banana Republic boots {old}. Alexander McQueen scarf. J.Crew leopard beanie + bubble necklace
ASOS clutch. Vintage, Etsy and J.Crew bracelets.
Michael Kors gloves. MAC Lady Danger + MAC Amorous lips. Essie Licorice nails.

As far back as I can remember, leopard has been on the top of my favorites list. It's been in the recent years, that the print has become my go-to "black." There's a certain classic, timeless element to it that never goes out of style. I love that leopard is being extended beyond just clothing, though; you can find it in rugs, wallpaper, even on food!? It became really popular among the ladies back in the '60's but lately it seems it's becoming more of a fashion trend. What do you guys think of it? Like or Pass?

We spent the day at a farm out in Warwick, NY roaming the pumpkin patch and picking apples. It was the quintessential Upstate New York Fall Day; complete with the changing leaves, cool Fall breeze, the smell of apple cider donuts and hot mulled cider in the air. I absolutely loved it.

sundays are made for times like these...

Coat: DKNY | Scarf: SoHo vendor | Blazer: Banana Republic
Knit top: J. Crew outlet | Boots: Alloy | Jeans: Forever 21
Belt: J. Crew | Jewelry: vintage Givenchy necklace, Forever 21 + J. Crew bracelets
Clutch: vintage Louis Vuitton | Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs

I've said it before; New York has some of the best art forms, graffiti walls, and sculptures. And you can find one form or another at almost every corner, so the need to stop and snap a great photo is virtually guaranteed. If you haven't already guessed, hubby and I love any opportunity to try out a new place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. We don't discriminate. This particular Sunday, we ventured out to  Brooklyn to try out some tasty brunch and we were not disappointed. The weather was one of the chilliest on record for this winter, but it did not stop us from walking around and burning off some calories afterwards. After all, this city is perfect for that.

*P.S. I picked up this knit top at a J. Crew outlet and it is so comfy and fits perfectly over my baby belly; I'm kicking myself because I should have picked one up in every color! Live and learn.

This weekend we put up our Christmas tree and it took all the energy I had not to quit in the middle of it. Don't get me wrong, readers, I luurrve Christmas decorating {after all, it's my favorite holiday} but I kind of lost my motivation mid-way because I tend to get bored of looking at the same ornaments year after year. We kind of wanted to get new ones this year, but couldn't stomach paying the insane amount some of these stores are asking {of course, the beautiful ones are the most expensive} so I chalked it up and just decided to use the same ones and to change it up slightly we did a monochromatic color this year instead of using combo colors. The new ornaments will have to wait until next year when we move into our new place. I'll try and take photos of the tree later on this week to show you. On a more successful note, it's always good when you are pulling out the Christmas storage and find brand new Christmas cards you totally forgot you bought last year. Score! For those of you who decorated a tree this year, what color scheme did you go with?

HAPPY MONDAY
