I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love street art, and New York City is full of them. They are constantly changing so multiple visits is necessary. This time around, we ran into one of Nick Walker's stencil graffiti pieces in the Lower East Side and I was more than happy to pose. This particular art piece forms my sentiments exactly: I LOVE NEW YORK. I TRULY DO. I'm elated that I live in a place where the city streets constantly inspire me. Empire State of Mind says it best.

TGIF! I wore this outfit out the other night to party with my girlfriends. I'm one of those girls that has to dance in heels. It's how I've always been and I'm sure always will be. 
I always jump at the chance to take photographs with an unexpected background, such as this one. One that's not overly perfect because let's be honest not every photoshoot is. I don't know about you, but I much rather look at a blog where the photos are not ideal and the background is less than perfect and different. I find it's more "real." But that's enough gabbing from me. I'm off to enjoy the weekend!

This look has become my summer uniform; boyfriend shorts, an easy top, chucks or sandals, and simple accessories. It's easy to throw on especially when running on 4 hours of sleep on the morning after a late night, like this past weekend. Easy breezy outfits are just one of the many reasons I love summer.

For those of you who have been living under a rock and have never heard of her, she is a top celebrity fashion stylist and also a reality TV star on her own reality show titled, The Rachel Zoe Project. It was tough to showcase only a few pictures as she has styled so many fabulous outfits throughout her fashion career. Can we just stop for a moment and have a moment of silence for these faux leather shorts? *cue elevator music* If I told you I loved them, it'd be an understatement. They are perfect in every way but then again isn't everything Zara makes?! I am a self-dubbed Zara whore, seriously. If I wore everything I owned from Zara on the blog it would take the element of surprise out of every outfit post. I checked and they don't have these shorts on their website anymore, but these are similar. Now let's talk about these sandals. I've had these sandals for well over a year and I just realized this is the first time I've worn them on the blog. I'm a bad girl! When they first came out, I think every blogger in Blog Land scooped them up. That's what usually happens when you mix shoe-a-holics and a gorgeous shoe at a great price point. Naturally, I gravitate towards colors like red, black, animal print, and brown but these stood out to me moreso than the other color choices because of the great color combo. So these sexy green and blue sandals were a perfect pop of color to add to my collection. I'm getting sassy in my old age.

Elle Macpherson is FIERCE and fabulous. Her claim to fame was her modeling career; she graced the covers of Sports Illustrated, modeled for Victoria's Secret and even Playboy. She's appeared in various films throughout her career, and even had a few stints on one of my favorite sitcoms, Friends. Who can forget her as one of Joey's love interests? Presently, she has a personal lingerie line, and has stepped down as host of NBC's Fashion Star as of last year. Despite all of that, she has remained a style icon. I love her style because it's very attainable. She mixes alot of glamorous furs with  basics like skinny jeans, leather pants, ankle boots, and flats.
