TGIF! I wore this outfit out the other night to party with my girlfriends. I'm one of those girls that has to dance in heels. It's how I've always been and I'm sure always will be. 
I always jump at the chance to take photographs with an unexpected background, such as this one. One that's not overly perfect because let's be honest not every photoshoot is. I don't know about you, but I much rather look at a blog where the photos are not ideal and the background is less than perfect and different. I find it's more "real." But that's enough gabbing from me. I'm off to enjoy the weekend!

Happy Friday and Summer Solstice, bloggies! Yes, summer is officially here! It feels like we've been waiting forever for it to arrive. Hope everyone had a pleasant and productive week. I have been wearing these leather shorts on repeat. They are just so easy to throw on and can be worn dressed up as seen here or casual with some chucks. I love versatility. One thing I will promise you is that these shorts will be on repeat this summer. Trust me. 
I know you are all looking forward to the weekend, as I am! It's going to be a busy weekend and week up ahead too, but a 'good busy' so I'm not upset. We have a party this weekend, some fitness planned outdoors, and lots of fun stuff planned next week but I'll definitely be popping in here on the blog as well as here, if you want to follow along. Happy Friday loves! What are you all up to this weekend? Our little family will be going to Family Day at Coney Island tomorrow and we are looking forward to lots of fun! The last time I rode the Cyclone Roller Coaster or any ride at Coney for that matter was when I was an itty bitty. The little kid in me comes out at amusement parks. The rest of the weekend will be played by ear, depending on the weather. It seems to be changing by the hour. Oh Mother Nature, you sure do have a silly sense of humor!

              - registered for my first ever 5K run at the end of July. Who's ready for Super Bowl Weekend?! To be honest, I don't really follow or understand football but Larry does. He has tried futilely to explain the plays to me but I'm afraid it's fallen on deaf ears. I have been known to pick things up on my own time, so I'm not giving up hope. Growing up in a household where baseball was EVERYTHING, I was surprisingly a late bloomer in coming to love the sport. Now, I cannot get enough and hubby and I count down the months until Spring Season. I have faith that one year I'll be saying the same about football. Until then, I definitely don't mind watching Super Bowl even if it is just for the commercials {and food!}. Wherever your travels take you, have a blast of a weekend!
