It's Monday already!? Where did the weekend go? Hope yours was fabulous! Our weekend was spent drinking, spring cleaning, at the park, drinking, eating, shopping, and did I already say drinking?! We finally put away the winter gear (buh-bye! hope to not see you soon) and dusting off the spring wardrobe. As much as I love my faux furs, blazers and winter boots; I am so looking forward to donning pretty, bright colors on my toes (or as I like to call them, 'my mini hot dogs') and showing them off in peep toes and sandals. Ahhhhh! Feet were meant to breathe! Although it's still not Spring weather outside, I figure if I can at least look at the brighter, colored tops and bottoms sitting in my wardrobe I can take my mind to a happier place, and maybe somehow coerce the Spring weather to come out of hiding and stay for awhile. *fingers crossed* All I can do is try, people. All I can do is try...

Happy Monday, readers! Hope your weekend was great. Mine was busy, but in a very good way. As you can tell from the photos, alot of it was spent eating. One of our favorite pastimes. :) Aside from stuffing our faces, we got out to enjoy the sunshine and the nice weather. After the winter we've had, Spring finally decided to show up! :) We spent Saturday at my nephew's 8th birthday party and I saw some family I hadn't seen in years. Yes, apparently it is possible to live in close proximity to people that share your bloodline and only see their faces at annual birthday parties. ;) We had a great time and the weather cooperated enough to let the children run around outside before the sun set.  Sunday was spent shopping, signing up for Wanderlust and my first Mommy + Baby Yoga class. A run to Whole Foods to pick up a few things was also in the cards, as well as an evening in to catch up on all of our missed shows on the DVR.  This afternoon we went to the park along with all of New York City it seemed, as every bench was occupied with people out enjoying the 70 degree weather as well. Tomorrow, the meteorologists are promising 80 degree weather. Guess who's crossing every finger she owns?!

spring, i heart you

Spring has arrived in New York! Well, sort of...it is cold today. To help setoff the Spring season, I came up with 20 reasons why I'm happy spring has arrived! 

1. Flowers.
2. It's still light outside at 7pm.
3. Baseball season. 
4. Iced Coffee. Yum!
5. Dining al fresco.
6. Long walks. 
7. Bike Riding.

10. The smell of freshly cut grass.

16. Running season.
17. Free yoga in the parks.

19. Pretty new nail polish colors.
