Red Velvet and Leopard: the new york city wine and food festival {nycwff}

Larry and I had the honor of attending the Food Network's New York City Wine + Food Festival's Grand Tasting two weekends ago. This event is held every year in October, and this was their 5th year. I won tickets via Twitter for Mastercard's Priceless NY Experience. If I were to sum up the event in one word: PRICELESS! My favorites were the culinary demos with Paula Deen, Andrew Zimmern, and Rachael Ray as well as the seafood samples and the strip house steak with creamed spinach. I had way too many wine samples to remember which one I liked the best, but one drink that did stand out was the Licor 43 with heavy cream a.k.a. "little beer." Wow!
