interior inspiration : cowhide rugs

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

Lately, I find myself drawn to cowhide rugs in all colors, patterns, and styles but my favorite is the zebra print. When styled correctly, it provides the right amount of animal print and chicness to an otherwise boring space or room. The organic shapes lend beautifully to any room, and they fit effortlessly into many different decorating styles. Cowhide rugs are sexy, stylish and they are really easy to maintain {they are actually very hard to stain}. I see these rugs as an investment piece, because they do not run cheap but are well worth the money.
Do you guys love it or hate it?

bar cart inspiration

I envision the most perfect vintage bar cart to house in my foyer so the husband and I can have our cocktails at home on a leisure evening as well as when we entertain friends at our place. Plus, bar carts are essential for all of the holiday festivities. But I don't just want any bar cart; I would get a thrill from finding a hidden treasure in a local flea market and re-purposing it into a statement piece.

my dream office inspiration

There is just something so inspiring about a white workspace. White desk, white chair, white walls, white furniture.  It screams clean, clear, bright. To me, being able to work in a white office would make me very productive. White is considered an excellent feng shui color; providing new possibilities, energy, and it can help brighten up any room. Some day, I'll have the office of my dreams - 'til then, I'll just stay inspired and fantasize.

When looking online for interior eye candy, I notice I start to salivate and my heart palpitates at a thousand beats per minute when looking at more modern and contemporary looks than anything else. I also love a vintage and old vibe edge thrown in here and there in accessories, night tables, a rustic dresser, or lamp. I think it's the clean, sophisticated edges and elements that catch my eye. Here are a few inspirational photos that have caught my inner decorista eye lately. And if you haven't noticed, I have a slight unhealthy obsession with chandeliers.
